Ruth Smalley, Edge Hill University
Library Perspectives Series
This webinar told the story of how Edge Hill University went from the chaos of losing access to their physical book collection and the wild west of temporary ‘free access’ e-textbooks at the start of Covid to choosing a supplier and implementing an e-textbook offer with BibliU at the start of the 2020 academic year. It examined how they chose titles, the lessons learnt during the first year of the subscription and how the offer was revised and refined for the current year. It also touched on how they hope to develop the offer in the future.
