The All England Joint Consortium recently appointed Coutts Information Services as one of their recommended suppliers for all six lots.
Susan Wright, Head of SUPC (Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium), explained, “We undertook a rigorous tender process and were looking for suppliers who offered competitive pricing and excellent customer services and support. We were also looking for suppliers who could work with libraries to streamline workflows and deliver efficiencies into their operations. Coutts fits this bill.”
Coutts successfully bid for all six awarded lots positioning Coutts as the leading choice for integrated library supply solutions. In addition to English Language Books, e-books, English Language Standing Orders and Out of Print, Coutts was also awarded European Language Materials and Alternative Media.
Jason Beech, Coutts’ UK Sales & Marketing Director, commented, “We are delighted to have done so well during this detailed evaluation. We look forward to continuing to work with our long term existing customers and to introducing new customers to the innovative workflow solutions Coutts has to offer, particularly through the recent launch of OASIS Version 4 and the new MyiLibrary e-book tools.”
The framework agreement is set to start on August 3rd for four years.
