During Covid-19 there are hundreds of special offers and free training offers available and keeping track can be a challenge. NAG recommends this useful Google Doc listing many of the offers initiated by the NAG Treasurer.
If you are interested in CPD during this time, webinars and online training are being added all the time to our NAG Combined Library Events calendar These cover all aspects of the library world from across the globe, including extremely topical and useful training on issues such as copyright, metadata and collaboration.
On the opposite side, acquisitions staff are also reporting content which is technically available however the pricing is unsustainable or unaffordable. In order to tackle this issue, JISC have created a webform to allow you to report this content and they will then approach these publishers on behalf of the sector.
