We have been pleased to welcome many new public library members to NAG with our free membership offer (still open until 30th June 2021). This webinar aims to outline NAG’s offer for our public library based members, and to ask what else you would like to see in 2021 and beyond. Our chair, Alison Millar will open the event with a description of what NAG has to offer.
This webinar also opened the NAG Public Library of the Year Grant for 2021 and in light of the current challenges, the funding was doubled to £10,000 to allow us to either support two libraries or one larger project. To help explain what we’re looking for, our 2019 winner, Maria Reguera (Vision Redbridge Culture & Leisure) will be giving an update on her “Digital Storytellers” project.
For the first time, the 2020 NAG Award winner is also a public library authority so Dionne Hood will be talking about Bradford Libraries and their activities during lockdown which earned them the 2020 prize.
