Full time, permanent position.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the University of Warwick Library’s Resource Acquisitions & Digital Access team to build and develop Reading List provision for University students. Embedding the use of a reading list system (currently Talis Aspire) to deliver reading lists to students at all levels is a strategic goal of the University, and you will play a key role in achieving this, working with colleagues across the Library and contributing to the development of systems and processes which will ensure the efficient and effective processing of lists. You will develop and provide training, support and guidance to academic staff and you will act as key contact for reading list enquiries. You will also effectively manage and inform the processes which ensure the timely ordering/scanning of and accurate linking to required readings.

This post would suit an enthusiastic individual, and offers the chance to gain valuable experience of different aspects of the Library and the University – you will be working closely with key teams within the Library, including the subject specialist Academic Support Librarians, and with academic departments across the University to ensure lists are available to the students when they need them.

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education to A-level standard including GCSEs at A-C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics. You will also have previous experience of working in an educational setting (preferably within Higher or Further Education) or information service, preferably with involvement in curriculum planning or reading list development. You will be able to demonstrate a customer-focussed and flexible approach with a good level of computer literacy, as well as excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and the ability to handle competing demands and priorities whilst remaining focused.

Salary: £22,417 – £25,941 per annum
