BIC Green Hub
This new BIC initiative, designed as a resource for the book industry, will be a platform for BIC to share information about how we as an industry can be greener and to showcase what BIC is doing to help organisations achieve that aspiration. Explore the 6 areas that make up the BIC Green Hub:
The content on these webpages will be added to and updated over time as BIC progresses their green agenda for and on behalf of the book industry supply chain.
“We’re pleased to report that the first of our Green BIC Brunch sessions – which focussed on the environmental impact of materials used in the production of printed books – took place (online) on 24th June 2020. 75 attendees, from 48 organisations and 5 countries heard our industry experts give us a fascinating overview of the current measures being taken to ensure that the materials used in book production can be recycled and how new technology is moving to ensure that the entire life cycle of a book can be circular. If you missed it, you can watch the whole event via the BIC YouTube channel, here: https://youtu.be/p8R3DcLoVYo ”
